How it Works
Step 1: Discovery
You reach out through the inquiry form, email or phone and we’ll review your property size, goals, and design needs.
Step 2: Site Visit + Base Mapping
We visit your property (within Nova Scotia) to walk the space, take measurements, and complete an aerial scan to begin your base map.
Step 3: Schematic Design
You receive a preliminary concept and site analysis (11x17”), which we’ll review together and refine.
Step 4: Final Concept Plan
We deliver a large-format (24x36”) final plan with planting layout, hardscape elements, materials, and plant list.
Step 5: Add-Ons or Implementation
Need more detail? Add lighting, irrigation, detailed planting plans, or 3D sketch perspectives; or use the concept to guide your build with a contractor.

Cedrus Landscape Design focuses on design only. However, we’re happy to recommend trusted local contractors that we work with regularly and who are well-suited to your specific project. You can also use your design to guide a DIY installation if preferred.

On-site consultations are included for properties within HRM. We also work remotely with clients across Nova Scotia — travel surcharges may apply.

Absolutely. Once your base plan is complete, you can upgrade to a planting plan, lighting layout, or 3D visualizations at any time.

You'll receive one printed set and a full digital package including PDFs and any requested add-ons.
